Eyewords Multisensory Color Words have been created to introduce and differentiate the reading of color words for young and/or struggling readers. As a complement to phonemic instruction, Eyewords provides a multisensory - visual, auditory and kinesthetic) approach to teaching the color words. Words included are: red, green, yellow, blue, orange, black, brown, purple, pink, and white.

Pages are arranged for double sided printing. Words with embedded pictures on one side and plain text words with accompanying auditory cue and kinesthetic action on the reverse side.  Eyewords sight words marries whole word and phonetic approaches to reading the high frequency words and utilizes components from all modalities at one time.  Eyewords Multisensory Sight Words and teaching methodology has received attention and acclaim and were focus of research conductec by Stanford University's School of Education. A study published in "Learning and Instruction" outlines how Eyewords materials and method increases high frequency word learning and retention over phonics instruction alone.
